Established in 1956 by Youssef Dweihy, under a private label, Carrosierie Youssef El Doueihi, as a vehicle body and machinery manufacturing company in Tripoli, Lebanon.

Armed with expertise, knowledge, and a hard-working team, Caroserie Yousef Doueihi forged a name for itself from the very beginning and managed to capture a sizeable share of the market from the outset to fast expand its coverage among the country.

The private label Caroserie Yousef Doueihi became synonymous with quality and expanded its footprints within the Middle East and Africa.

In 1969, the company moved its headquarters to Beirut and was rebranded to Dweihy Autosales. During this year, it shifted its services from manufacturing to distributing automobiles; auto spare parts; light, medium, and heavy trucks; spare parts of trucks; equipment for handling cargo; spare parts for cargo handling equipment.

Dweihy Autosales has carved a niche for itself and acquired a leadership position in international markets to become one of the preferred suppliers of vehicle spare parts, automobiles, cargo handle equipment, and more. 

With more success in the region, the group has expanded its footprints and services to real estate, under Dweihy 838, and automotive coatings and mixing machines distribution, under Auto Lake.
